Legacy Roots, LLC provides expert research skills for investigation of historic buildings, private residences, and associated or individual personal genealogies. Investigations have been conducted in the U.S. as well as England, France, Germany, and Poland for clients worldwide. Projects have been conducted for complex and “brick wall” situations with results provided by examination of primary and secondary sources as well as investigation of building materials where appropriate in coordination with experts in applicable fields to determine the origins and history of the building’s components as well as landscape, foundation, and social history. Genealogies for private individuals or in association with buildings are drawn from a variety of sources and integrated into a detailed documented report useful for proof, evidence, historical context for designation, or for personal use in a bespoke bound book form.
